is the brainchild of former roadhouse country singer, Erin Gannon (Motel Fresno).

Erin became fascinated with badass blueswomen and their songs while reading about Lucille Bogan's "Shave 'Em Dry" in Stanley Booth's "The True Adventures of the Rolling Stones."

Much has been made of how, though blueswomen sung about being victims of male carelessness and cruelty, they nevertheless promoted liberation because of the power and anger with which they sang. But there are numerous songs in which the women are just as dangerous and wild as their male counterparts. Were these songs deliberately supressed in favor of more palatable croonings?

No matter, since Erin has assigned herself the task of bringing these gritty little gems back to life.
